IMPORTANT CHANGE FOR 2018 -- PLEASE READ!!!
Assisting with Children/Toddler/Infant programming
Because we do not charge a registration fee for our programming, we rely on volunteers and need everyone to "pitch in". Therefore, we ask that parents/caregivers of teens, children, toddlers or infants take a turn serving as a helper. (Or, if you are unable to fulfill this requirement, another adult family member or friend can serve on your behalf, providing they have their Criminal Record Check and "Plan to Protect" training.)
If you register 3 teens/children/toddlers/infants in program, we ask that you take 3 turns helping. This year, we are continuing what we started last year by adding new areas where you can volunteer to help including in the kitchen doing dishes after meals. The sign up sheets for activities, times, age groups and locations for helping can be found in the Main Office. Once you register and sign up to help, you will receive one armband for each teen, child, toddler or infant in your group/family.
Teen, children, toddlers and infants will not be admitted to program without an armband.
Also, please be aware that we will be enforcing our "Plan to Protect" policy. Bring a copy of your criminal record check and leave it with Louise Provencher in the Main Office prior to signing up for your time slots (for those choosing to help with the children/toddlers/infants.)
"Plan to Protect" certification and recertification sessions will be offered both prior to camp and during the week of camp. Teen/children/toddler and infant volunteers are only required to attend one of the various training (certification or recertification) sessions being offered.
If changes are made to this policy, notices will be sent via email and our social media sources.
